STEM for Girls

In October of each year the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools is hosting the annual STEM for Girls conference. The goal of this conference is to inspire girls in 6th-10th grade to learn and be involved in the (STEM) fields by having the chance to meet and learn from STEM role models. This one-day event will include presentations on STEM careers, talks about current events or relevant topics in STEM fields and hands-on STEM activities. The day begins with a light breakfast and a keynote speech. Then students will engage in breakout sessions and the conference will conclude with an outdoor picnic style lunch.
