Environmental Literacy

The Fresno County Superintendent of Schools is dedicated to promoting environmental literacy by connecting students with hands-on, locally relevant learning experiences focused on topics like watersheds, river ecology, and air and water quality. Through partnerships with community organizations, FCSS supports the integration of environmental themes into science and social studies, helping students build academic skills while preparing them to be informed, civically engaged citizens.
